Tensegrety-Bruecke
Tensegrity is soo interesting, but seldom used as structure. One reason might be the complexity of the structure- So this is why the good engeneers are needed. In this case it was Mr Cecil Balmond from Arup. The planners where WilkinsonEyre. And the didi it for the National Building Museum in Washington DC.
Tensegrity wird oft als interessant, aber unbrauchbar abgestempelt. Schon allein aus diesem Grund, gefaellt mir Projekt, dass diese Technologie anwendet. WilkinsonEyre haben sich eine Bruecke ausgedacht, fuer das National Building Museum in Washington DC. Und weil es immer jemand braucht, der dann auch ausrechnen kann, wie es funktioniert, hat Cecil Balmond von Arup mitgearbeitet.
